Waymo, Google’s self-driving unit, and Chinese automaker Geely announced their partnership and plan to create robotaxis. Design for passenger cars will be done by Geely’s mobility brand Zeekr, in a plant in Sweden. In the US robotaxis will be equipped with autonomous driving technology called Waymo Driver. According to Waymo’s website, such cars can start their work in the coming years. Read more
