Polytechnic University of Catalonia introduces a stair-climbing delivery robot

Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and CARNET developed a new type of delivery robots with six wheels able to climb stairs up to 7.9 inches high. Its maximum speed is 12.4 mph. These robots will be used in particular cities in Spain, Germany, and Hungary for last-mile delivery. Such autonomous delivery vehicles can lower transportation costs, make service more efficient, and solve the problem of pollution in the cities. Read more
