The state of Wyoming introduced a bill that could allow the issuance of a stablecoin


On 17th February, Wyoming State Senators Chris Rothfuss and Tara Nethercott and House Representatives Jared Olsen and Mike Ying introduced Senate File named the “Wyoming Stable Token Act.” If the bill is signed, it will authorize the treasurer to issue a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, which can be exchanged for fiat held in the government’s account. Read more
