Dublin City University has launched a network of voice AI and smart technology to facilitate the life of older people living alone. The NEX system was worked out together with the Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics and Irish tech firms Davra and Danto. The main idea is to chart behavior patterns and control daily routines. For instance, to remind a person to take medication, or to check if everything is fine when a person didn’t go for walk as usual and may need some help. Read more
